I tripped over this bug using 3ware 3DM2 and was able to work around by
using an IP address for my email server.

After upgrading to 10.10, it seems that initial tests show that
everything is fine now. I only tested with an existing ext2 fs that was
on a DVD-RAM disc already, not with mkudffs. Although I would imagine it
works fine.
Specifically, sync blocked properly and after exit, all activity to the
DVD-R

That's not really what I'd call "communication": of course, the panel
shows the time the system reports; but that's all.
Anyway, that's an issue with the XFCE panel, which has to determine
what's the best behavior it should have when timezone changes.

Yesterday I installed Ubuntu-10.10-desktop-amd64 and since now I have no
experienced openings of unwanted applications or windows caused by a jumping
pointer, but I found that the difficulty on writing, for example this message,
is still present an maybe now I can describe better the strange beh

No Issues on 10.10, tried with Netbook Edition, all seems well, and this
issue is not presenting it's self. I'm going to close this fixed. If I'm
wrong, please repoen the bug :)

I've recently upgraded to Maverick (10.10 x86-64) from Lucid (10.04
x86-64) and notices that a few of my custom key bindings that functioned
perfectly under Lucid no longer seem to function under Maverick.

was reported when it tried to upgrade virtualbox (which previously was
not in the repos and had to be installed manually). However, after
everything was said and done I rebooted
