I have a similar problem with Ubuntu 10.04, on an ASUS X51L Laptop (Intel(R)
Pentium(R) Dual CPU T2370 @1.73GHz).
I can go to SUSPEND just 3 times.
On the fourth time, usually the screen just freezes (backlight still on, hard
disk still on, nothing responding even "Caps Lock" key or power button)
@Karl, in native gnome, when you turn on "show_flags" in gconf you can
see only flag, but when you turn off, you can see only letters without
image, and i am not sure that you had to change API to fix it

Not really, it seems like the source package that provided the xserver-
xorg-input-wacom binary package has changed in lucid. so the behaviour
is correct.

Untranslatable string in update-manager
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/657
Honestly, I don't know if the untranslated string comes from update-
manager or policykit (or something else). Could anybody confirms where
is the source of this issue? Thanks!

The issue is clearer if one tries to establish the VPN connection over a WLAN
connection for instance. As the WLAN icon is different from the wifi icon, it
is clear that the the overlaid VPN animation is almost the same as the Wifi
animation. That's why when one tries to establish VPN over Wifi,
Sorry that I haven't had the time to follow up on this in a while. If
upstream is holding out for multitouch specs, then I wouldn't hold my
breath waiting. From what I could tell, when I looked at it, the
multitouch support in Windows is handled by the user-space driver, and
not by the hardware.
