Non-patch workaround:
If you only suffer from indicator-applet overriding +m and don't
care about +s, you can replace indicator-applet with indicator-
applet-complete, and get +m back. (indicator-applet-complete
only uses +s) This avoids running a locally-patched version of
indicator-applet.
