I have a similar problem on a Toshiba Satellite MX-30 and Lucid. I am using a
FritzBox 7270 and the log on the box shows, that the WLAN-connection is lost
and reconnected up to 4 times a minute.

To disable random that lock tomcat, I disable it in APR.
If you compile by yourself APR, you can fix it like it :
cd apache-tomcat-6.0.29/tomcat-native-1.1.20-src/jni/native/
In include/tcn.h

user interface font, then this should be investigated and weighed up,
along with the social impacts of doing so.
