Thinking about this, the problem is presumably that the pointed-to apt
config does not have any keys available. This makes me wonder how this
worked with older versions of apt. Perhaps they fell back to the keys in

I believe it's is all done via inotify. I've managed to seemingly solve
the problem by increasing the value of
/proc/sys/fs/inotify/max_user_watches from the default to 32000. I
initially tried an increase of 16000 and tested a few directories and
they refreshed automatically, I doubled it just to

Could you try to recreate this bug on the latest Maverick build? It
would be good to know if the same system you tested in comment #12 fails

Both 0.14.0-1 and 0.13.5-1 are in experimental and the tools will take
the latest release. Since there is some question as to whether or not
0.14.0-1 is appropriate, I am going to mark this back to New and
unsubscribe ubuntu-archive for now.
