This is not a bug in command-not-found. You essentially broke the system
by removing python that came with the installation (and on which many
things depend on, including on binary modules that are not built against
python2.7) and symlinked your own custom python in its place.
Please don't do that
Fix at #7 works also on my Latitude E6410 (even if in the syslog the
message "mmc0: Unknown controller version (2). You may experience
problems." still appears).

I'm facing a new problem with Evolution and Exchange 2003 : whenever I
try to send a message, I get a "segfault (core dumped)" and Evolution
crashes. For what it's worth..

Indeed there's a /lib/udev/usb_modeswitch as well, but it just seems to
be a shell wrapper around /usr/sbin/usb_modeswitch_dispatcher. But since
it is set -e, and /lib/udev/hotplug.functions does not exist, this
script is broken and won't do anything.

Marking as high, since this will likely affect a lot of of modems, if
not all of them.

I have updated to 10.04 a while ago and the issue remains. The keyboard is not
recognised as such. General function does work. Volume up/down/mute also works.
F/Mode key does not.
Let me know if I can run some commands or tests for you. It might just be a
mapping or settings issue by now.
