When I boot my server, it doesn't broadcast netatalk services. I have to
manually restart avahi with:
restart avahi-daemon
Once I do this, the server shows up instantly in the Finder of my Mac.

I confirm that the package in lucid-proposed fixes the bug (for me at

I added the 2 lines to the file /etc/wgetrc :
http_proxy = http://10.0.0.2:3128/
ftp_proxy = http://10.0.0.2:3128/
I did a locate for "wgetrc" and found - /var/cache/flashplugin-installer/wgetrc
So I added those 2 lines in there aswell.
re-running the apt-get upgrade - seemed to then just
701 - 800 of 2296 matches
