Here's the solution. Both my Debian and Ubuntu were running in a
VirtualBox, I didn't mention that because altgr worked in Debian. Altgr
seems to be problematic in windows hosts because windows translates it

Can you point me to the code that arranges for there to be /dev/sda1
etc. on EC2 but no /dev/sda? I'd like to trace through it and think
about this a bit.
Note that grub-probe doesn't really talk to the BIOS. It's just
iterating through OS devices.

I think that arguments for upload patches is fact, that someone is
waiting for resolve the problem. Even gave the patch! This upload
shouldn't broke nothing important. I tested all packages and it works
fine.

issue. Also, the output of df -h command.
