This is a big help. Now, in gnome volume control, I have Line,
Microphone 1 and Microphone 2 (the internal mic) as possible connectors.

Hi,
I'm come from the Forum-Thread above and have the same problem (Kubuntu
10.4, KDE 4.5, NvidiaBinaryDriver). The only way i can log in is with
the recovery mode (as root), and "startx". The method with the disabled
plymouth works for me, thanks! How can i disable it for ever?

Seriously, that's not a solution at all. First, the location bar is
useful for other things than just ignoring Ubuntu one, and second, it's
still shown by default.

Why can't we add it to the toolbar instead? That would be much less
intrusive and prone for accidental clicking, and not take away screen
space. We can still keep the ribbon in the ~/Ubuntu One/ folder, of
course, since there it actually is an error if the folder isn't
synchronized.

I have solved this for the channel panes (ie Canonical partners etc).
The issue however still remains in the category list views (ie Get
