As a Ubuntu lover, I also have to say the empathy new message
notification system is a pretty poor implementation. I personally would
like multiple beeps every few mins to say I have new messages.

That's what I thought but Danny said that DMraid has no sync ability...
So I'm investigating what really happened. So this is a good point
