I can confirm this bug on thinkpad R60. In my case suspend/hibernate
from keyboard (Fn+F12) also causes the pointer to disappear. I have
disabled "gnome_keyring_hibernate" and "gnome_keyring_suspend" via
gconf-editor. Switching from the last used workspace to another and back
brings the pointer up
looks like this has already been fixed in Debian, so Maverick should
ship correctly. Attaching debdiff for lucid-proposed. Kindly

The attached patch clears this Oops for me, and gets google earth 5.1.3535.3218
working; however it doesn't
actually address any problems that may be in any 32 bit compat code so maybe
there are others needed.
