This problem occurs occasionally (approximately once every 20 boots). I am
normally attached to at least 7 projects )including SETi, rosetta, malaria. No
projects start and none are displayed under the project tab. If I reboot the

people use baidu when google is not available, which happens frequently.
And baidu afterall does provide useful search results, adding this is a

Not sure what the server setup is (because it belongs to work). As noted it
only seems to be files opening with OpenOffice, other files (such as .jpg) open

As a workaround I can copy the files to my local machine, edit and copy

This still happens on Lucid, but there's a less complicated fix for
this. The status moule is normally enabled with `a2enmod status`. All
that seems to be required to fix munin after that is to add
'ExtendedStatus On' to /etc/apache2/mods-enabled/status.conf so it looks

Seems that the reset issued by the driver on init somehow "disconnects" the
drives. At least, that's my interpretation of the fact that
"libata.force=1:norst" makes it work...
Does anyone have a more technically funded explanation of this? Maybe one of
the developers of ata_piix ?

I can confirm this still exists with openoffice.org-writer
