No, that is a different bug.
It is the navigation through directories which is slow, not the file transfer
itself:
The trivial example I gave is easy to reproduce. There is a lot of unnecessary
samba traffic that slows down the navigation.

corrupted. I´d say, that this is hardware-related. Do you have a nvidia-

some power improvements (not a lot IIRC), but gained the mouse bug.
This is in contrast with the default lucid kernel (up to date as of

That's correct. The patch uses percent encoding

What happened? I have 2 harddrives, one spare where I sometimes dd-copy
my first harddrive to. I did this the first time after my ubuntu 10.04
install the day before yesterday. With two harddrives being identically,
their UUID
I still have this issue with 2.30.2-0ubuntu5. Am I missing something or
did something break in evolution again?
I'm on Ubuntu 10.04. I have both jacob/evo230 and suraia PPAs enabled.
Evolution 2.30.2-0ubuntu5 comes from the suraia PPA however certain packages
from jacon/evo230 are also installed.
After all these years, this broken package is *still* in the repository?
Judging by the almost complete lack of developer interest in this bug,
I'd consider it abandoned and the package should just be removed.

I agree, this is _very_ frustrating, since the Menu Editor way to set
key bindings is referenced _everywhere_. It is absolutely counter-
intuitive and stupid that the actions would need to be separately
enabled in "Input Actions".

Can confirm bug on Hp dv5 series laptop, Was acting weird so i reset it

Hi everybody i could help in this, for me it did worked fine
first go to synaptic package manager
then search for software center
next mark it and delete it
now search again for software center and mark it and install it again
now its done it should work fine, it did work with me but not sure
