Recently i've also seen general corruption of a webpage per se (most
frequently ebay) where part of the page will show similar corruption as
the previous images I posted.
Scrolling past the corrupted part then back again will often "correct"

ERROR!!! BBP(viaMCU=1) read R0 fail
lines in the log.
I have also tried all posted solutions here and elsewhere to get wifi working
without success (including adding the line "pciehp pciehp_force=1

VLC sound interruption bug is absent in Ubuntu rel 10.04. The program works

Autologin doesn't work when you logout in 10.04. This is a change in
behavior from 9.10. When you logout, you are prompted with the standard
login screen to supply a user name. It should autologin instead if you
have it set to do so.
