Ok, I installed mythtv auto-builds, fixes25221 seems to resolve the
issue. Now, i only need to start mythtv, exit, and start mythtv again to
play dvds. :) Still looks like the default repos for Ubuntu need to be

After how long does it complain about memory? I have left some of
these running for several minutes and never run out of memory. I
started one a few minutes ago and I will let it run until the end of the
day and report back on the results.

Felipe, thanks for this report.
This should be fixed properly in the xkeyboard-config project so that you can
select the Thinkpad variant either during installation or later through the
Keyboard preferences.
