I had installed the appmenu-gtk as part of the UNE for maverick in
Lucid. Removing this package seems to have enabled all AIR apps to open
without having to go through 'sudo'. Before this 'sudo' seemed to be the

The issue seems to be that the workstation user accounts change their
passwords every 30 days. Take a look at one of my workstations log

I'm sorry, my previous post was misleading. I wasn't talking about video
streaming but simple video playback (thus, with the video file already
on my hard drive) which tended to lag and freeze. Constantly adding and
removing the 3G device therefore seemed to have kind of an impact on the
overall sy
that's because the indicator applet is being used now. not a bug but a
design decision.
