Reverse vino is a must have feature for allowing support across the

Well, too late for maverick in any case and it'll change screenshots
default. I don't remember how it was on karmic, but the tool changed a
bit for configuring. I'm just wondering why it changed as I didn't
change that (at least on purpose). Would be good to get a karmic
screenshot.

The image you attached is of the client, what we need is a gui for the server
to initiate a reverse connection.
In other words: a way for grandma to click somewhere and say connect to my
grandson ;)

I happen to have the same exact problem with a radeon XPRESS 200M 5955, also on
a presario V2000 notebook.
I tried compiling the latest xserver-xorg-ati from git, but it didn't solve the
issue...
Apparently this is KMS-related, I haven't tried disabling it yet.

Deleted Open Office and then downloaded it, this solved the problem.
