HP EliteBook 6930p has similar issues after upgrade to 10.4. It even
managed to dim the display when plugging the AC cord IN after it was on
full brightness running on Battery. Neither FN keys nor Brightness
Applet work properly. I can't even grab the trigger, because the window
disappears on click
Btw, the bug is triggered by any error while downloading sources (for
example, a HTTP 404 error caused by an invalid repository).

I found out, that the volume can be adjusted from alsamixer. The speaker volume
here was very low, around 10.
Now everything works ok, but this is only temporal fix.

The fonts in apps which use QT cannot be changed at all through
'qtconfig' anymore. 'qtconfig' actually does nothing now. I think that
sth blocks it.
For example, in Skype there is no other way for changing the fonts and
the default ones are super small.

The T400s has a dedicated sound key with an integrated red LED which is
turned on if sound is off. Lucid Lynx ignored the default configuration
and activates the sound every time it gets started, that means the LED
is off. In KDE I can switch off the sound but the LED stays of

I was using ubuntu 10.04 live and after this bug cheeze would't restart.
this didn't happened since the installation is done and the lenovo camera works
now perfectly (not upside down as it used to be in the previous versions).
that s the only infos i could get.
