Yes, it's still failing. I'm sorry I can't use any dev version on
this system, but as far as I know 10.04 is about to be released. I'll

I have upgraded to Lucid and I can not reproduce this bug any more.
However, I changed my AP and wifi channel so close I close this bug as

FWIW, I do not use sparse files on my VMs... I allocate the full size
prior and build each drive prior to use, so in my case, a 20GB drive is
actually 20GB, not 1GB with a 20GB limit... but it was worth a shot at

This would need to be workarounded in dpkg, to make it support a
without-fdisk mode that would be triggered on new installs only.
I talked to the release team about it, their decision is to releasenote
this issue and work to get it fixed for 10.04.1.

reproduce this with Ubuntu Lucid or Karmic as the second OS. Also, it
happens with both automatic resize and manual partitioning. Unlike with
