Just did a "sudo apt-get install plymouth-theme-ubuntu-logo", and the
boot splash-screen appeared again :-)
So it seems that this package was removed (whyever) when I did the first
update after installation, because the boot-splash-screen was there when
I bootet the system for the first time.

Again, this is not reproduceabl (see my last comment). I don't get that
with an uptodate version, can you try upgrade your version to latest to
see if you don't have this crash anymore?

Also I just tried my own CLC/Walrus preseeded install on a cloud-in-a-bag
laptop, and it reboots alright.
See attached preseed.
However there is definitely some tricks involved around disk order
detection in netboot (partman shows the only disk as /dev/sdb -- SCSI2).

Hi, I too am experiencing random freezes on my Dell Dimension 2400 with
Intel 82845G/GL/GE Chipset. Once it freezes I can no longer move the
mouse or type on the keyboard. CapsLock and NumLock both stop working. I
can however SSH into the box fine. I don't see any erros in any of the
logs - nothin
Hi! Can you give some more detail about what's happening when you try
and use the Ubuntu One Music Store? For example, if you go through the
following process, where does it fail?
1. open Rhythmbox from the Applications > Sound & Video menu
2. Find "Ubuntu One" under Stores
3. Click on Ubuntu One

Unfortunately I don't have a way to trigger this.
It just happened as I logged in. Now I added again this applet (since it
was not being recreated, together with the display desktop one, which
crashed too) and it is working correctly.
I'll drop a comment here in case of news!

I could be wrong, but I think this appeared after gdesklet and / or
screenlets-manager installation and first time I started application.
Then it diapered. Sorry not much to work on.

mountall 2.10 reported by dpkg, though mountall --version
return 2.8
I have /usr and /home in lvm and fails to mount. I can't se no message
about pressing SM. Waiting for some time and pressing S and typing

Same problem here. The power manager is inconsistent. I have the screen-
saver turned off and 'Put display to sleep when inactive' set to 5
minutes. Occasionally the power manager does not kick in and the display
remains on.
