I find that using an orange of this tonalty for progress bar color does not fit
the theme, because it's too "hard".
A softer color could be used, like the one used for active checkboxes or radio
buttons, in the text background

I'm attaching steps that I did after the lucid-image steps above with a
karmic image.
Note, that the karmic image has a ramdisk. This didn't seem to change
anything, the karmic image fails to boot also.
