Emacs freezes gnome if
(1) I try to switch away (alt-tab), OR
(2) try to resize the window
A few threads on ubuntu forums suggest other see similar symptoms.

I updated the package in the Debian Perl Group's SVN repository and it
should be uploaded soon. Ubuntu can then sync the package from Debian
instead of a direct upload.

Leaving my Lucid machine on over night resulted in the icon having
shifted all the way to the left. This was a clean install from Lucid
Alpha 2, with the latest patches. It appears switching to/from
battery/adapter just accelerates the process in some way.

If you still have Windows around, you may want to try booting into it to
see if you can enable wifi in windows. Maybe the windows driver can
unblock the hard block somehow? You should also double check your bios,
as there may be a switch in there for wireless.

First, everything in this bug looks to be hardware related due to all
the rfkill issues. The issues are not related to Lucid or Karmic or any
