(tar.gz or .zip) and try to open it on Windows, and vice versa (only 7zip
format seems to work well).
Switching to lzma could be a solution, but it is not supported in the current
Python version as a default module and

had the 1.9% broken battery issue on ubuntu 9.10 desktop (might show my
newbness). Have not tried Kubuntu yet (for years btw).

I can confirm this behavior.
Works with get (get /tmp/\[test\]/moo) and even with ls from outside the
directory (ls /tmp/\[test\]). Just not when you cd to it.

It's a lot more effort to exit gnubiff and then run it again. A right-
click DnD option would be much quicker, and thus more likely to be used.
Could this be integrated into Ubuntu's desktop presence stuff, actually?

I've switched to Lucid alpha yesterday, and today, when I started my
usual Fluxbox session, I found out this strange behaviour:
1) When starting fluxbox, it automatically runs gnome-power-manager, so the
icon appears in my

applications that dock in the systray, only this particular new version
of gnome-power-manager. This is why I'm very inclined to think that is
gnome-power-manager's fault instead of fluxbox's.
