Got a lot of upgraded packages over the last days, including X and a new
kernel. Result is still the same, and still disappointing.
Loaded the new kernel and X yesterday, rebooted and everything worked fine. No
screen corruption, vertical lines etc, Plymouth also doing exactly
Switched the Plug & Play OS from "yes" to "no", still freezes but no
more CDROM confusion...

I tried 0.1.15 and the same crash did not happen. However, gnome-dvb-
daemon crashed so gnome-dvb-setup could not exit and I got this error
every time I tried to close the window or click the "Close" button,
"org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown: The name :1.142 was not
provided by any .servi
I believe this is a server problem at the provider. We pass a custom
user agent for the webkit widget. The server doesn't recognise that
agent, and so doesn't insert __doPostback JavaScript. The page
unconditionally relies on that JavaScript being there, though.

I have since upgraded to 3.0.2 debs based on the Debian packaging. They
are working fine on my 9.10 AMD64 boxes. If the Lucid debs built by
Andres are backwards compatible with 9.10, I can give them a try in our
staging environment in the coming days. Thanks Andres for taking care f
this one.

The "show current layout" regression is bug 531173. I'll also file
another one, since the current layout in the menu is wrong when using
the key combo.
