I also receive this error when trying to use the latest Karmic and Lucid
sparc netboot images.
If there are any directions on how to build my own netboot images from
sources I will be happy to test fixes. I have a SunFire T1000 and can

I replaced the stuff in /etc/init.d/grub-common with the stuff that's
supposed to be in there. Works great.
I started a thread in the ubuntu forums and someone else there had a
corrupt grub-common also.
FWIW, I have had no problems with corrupt files other than this
instance.

It's not from the adblock extension. I had this problem before enable it
and i think it is something wrong with libwebkit ot libjpeg/png, because
these are images. strange, this appears in chromium too, but not in
midori, hm.

For the record, my HP 2710p (which worked (almost*) perfectly in Karmic)
seems to be affected by this bug -- the pen is ignored in Lucid. This
machine has a Wacom digitiser on ttyS0.

would expect, with proper behavior of the control key, as Jean-Baptiste

It affected my old emachine that has a replaced drive that was running
XP before the partition and installation attempt. This is the first
emachine, a 900 Mhz screamer. I tried to install over and it wanted to
add an additional ubuntu 9.1 installation. Another oddity is that when
it allocated it
