Would it be difficult to add 'Preferences' to Evince as are in the Adobe
Reader? Nothing elaborate, just options to open with or without the
sidebar and in full screen, rather than minimized.
The small default Evince window is OK on a big monitor, but too small on
a laptop.

Adding "acpi_osi=Linux" to the GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT parameter in
/etc/default/grub makes the hotkeys adjust the brightness monotonically
on my 1005pe. I have also updated my bios to version 0706, but I don't
think this made a difference.

I started experiencing the problem a few minutes ago when I upgraded Plymouth
to 0.8.0~-9.
I removed it, rebooted, and it fixed the problem.
Good riddance, my boot-up is faster without it.

The real change effecting comment #3 was that compiz-fusion-plugins-
extra is no longer installed by default. Just a note in case someone

I have same problem with PPTP (network-manager-pptp).
An existing connection I set in past isn't working (bug 508740) and a new
connection cannot be created because button "Add" is grayed out.

It shows that the section dns-configuration already exists in the dns.xml
