I know that, but if I upgrade the kernel, my nVidia graphic will not run
but in low graphic resolution mode.

Ok, I've at least found a workaround, but the bug is still present:
Manually loading an alsa source in /etc/pulse/default.pa works ("load-
module module-alsa-source device=hw:0,0").
This adds an "Internal Audio" input device, in additon to the auto-
loaded (udev?) "Internal Audio Analog Stereo".
After I altered the updating serverlocation to: *server for Denmark* I
didn`t have a problem at all.

I can confirm that this issue is still active in Lucid. Adding
xscreensaver to Xubuntu Lucid, I now have two "Screensaver " listings in
Applications -> Settings. Since they activate different screensaver
settings, perhaps the names need to be changed to show which screensaver
the settings are for?

On Debian Sid I am using the Nvidia Driver. However I disabled "Desktop
Effects" and this resolved the problem. I suspect the same occurs fir
