from a web browser all the time, but update didn't work.

Seems to print quickly when the job reaches the printer. Same problem
with USB and LPT. Sometimes it finall

Its a similar problem, (resolv.conf no longer a symlink) but I think its
related to running the openvpn manager and bailing out half way through
a vpn setup.
Apologies I dont have anything more conclusive, but I do recall it
breaking resolv.conf and thus DNS which I manually fixed.

I also have this bug. This appeared AFTER I installed the Ubuntu
Pulseaudio PPA to solve the HSF modem problem.
I have also ran the command apport-collect -p alsa-base 442748
