On my 9.04>9.10>10.04 upgrade (ATI Radeon HD 2400 PRO) I got the low
graphic warning on bootup once and tried clicking OK and then it
crashed. Have not been able to boot in to it since then at all.
Well, I have not tried getting in as root.

Jonas, I have just noticed something odd. You say that you upgraded to
Karmic (9.10), but your log files say that you are using the Jaunty
(9.04) kernel.
Double-check your /boot/grub/menu.lst file. If you are using Karmic
(9.10), your kernel version should be 2.6.31. If you don't see that

Ok I uploaded the requested info right after startup. The crash appears even if
I don't try to connect to a wifi network.
This time, I was then able to connect to my 802.11a network, unlike the first
time when it kept asking for WPA2-PSK key.

SRU justification: 2.5.0-12 includes fixes for two LP bugs (one merged
from Ubuntu, one added directly into Debian). The upstream source is the

No, alsa-utils and alsa-base have nothing to do with it.
You should make sure you have the appropriate mic selected using
alsamixer.

but before install i use to have a lot space... and now the hdd is full...
also, i think the problem is that the installation is in / instead of /home
where there are much more space.

that he is not experiencing issues with this drive for other Ubuntu
