I found solution for my problem.
I noticed many errors 'Plugin ... not found' while running compiz from command
line and just installed package comppiz-fusion-plugins-main. After that compiz
works good.
Another question: why it has been lost during upgrade to 9.10?

the netbeans output window in a gmail conversation crashes firefox (and

This is a trivial package (both code and packaging-wise). No bugs, no

It would be nice if the server team subscribed to Ubuntu bugmail.
I noticed that the existing target to run the tests was outdated and was
not even being run. I applied the following diff to run the su

/xorg-server.conf from xserver-xorg-core. After uninstalling xserver-
xorg-core, things work again. Of course, if you need both xserver-xorg-

I can't try this right now, but would it be possible to run gparted with
lots of debugging output to see exactly what it is doing when the bug is
triggered? If this is not possible, maybe we could ask someone who knows
the gparted codebase to help us out?

I noticed that OpenOffice does not respect the default printer settings
as set by the KDE 4.3.4 systemsettings. I have multiple printers in
there and when I changes the settings OpenOffice does not respect that.

Today's Ubuntu 10.04 Daily Release contains Brasero 2.29.3 which also
doesn't burnproof via Checksum verify.
Pity, Ubuntu 9.04's Brasero 2.26.1 had succeeded in temporarily
replacing Windows-hosted Nero Burning or ImgBurn as THE reliable Disc
Burner on my rigs, so another Linux missed opportunity.

I've tested with the 32-bit kernel from http://kernel.ubuntu.com
/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v2.6.32/ and after an hour of use it seems to be
working fine. Some people also confirm that:

64-bit version though.
