I also get this apport message (with "kdeinit ..." instead of "konsole
...") after an unsuccessful attempt to resume after suspend to diske.
During my tries to resume after suspend to disk I see the kubuntu "wake
up screen" until this disappears and X11 should be loaded, I guess.

know valgrind too well, but I think you need to run it in "massif" mode,
which is for leaks (unlike the standard mode which catches

I can't watch 720p videos because the video gets very choppy and
pixelated when there is a high bitrate section (
I can also confirm that my MSI s271 (ms-1058) still does have the
problem under Karmic. No valid battery info, nor valid power management
(hibernate/suspend not working well)

There should also be a way to change permissions from read only to full
read-write and back without having to re-share the file or folder. Right
now, if I initially share my folder read only and then decide later that
the person I am sharing with requires write permissions, I have no other
