I am running a 64-bit system and never seen any significant problems
until upgrading to 9.10.
I ran a 64-bit Gentoo installation on this machine for 18 months and
except for minor issues (e.g. sound or wifi) I never had any problems(I
recall trying one of the Gentoo 2.6.30 kernels, but never used
I did a update with the update manager however this crash might of occurred
before i did the update, i was half asleep when i checked the results (usually
everything just works) i am using virtualbox and if i continue to have
issues will resort to using a earlier snapshot and doing the update an

My environment is: Ubuntu Karmic, Evince Document Viewer 2.28.1 (running on
poppler 0.12.0), printer HP LaserJet 4050PS.
Workaround: change printer driver from recomended (HP LaserJet 4050 Series
Postscript) to HP LaserJet 4050 - CUPS+Gutenprint v5.2.4.
The result is that I can print from evince

The OxygenOffice and the base of OpenOffice.org in Ubuntu are same, the

ah just a small formatting error :) keys release now.
But:
Wlan toggle (FN+F9) doesn't work, brightness (FN+Up/Down) doesn't change (even
though the bar is shown), backlight toggle (FN+F5) also doesn't work, FN+F3
doesn't do anything. but at least the keyboard doesn't get stuck on any of
those
I also note that I grabbed Debian 5.0 and they're still using the old

OK I have a solution that now works for me. If I use;
smb:///192.168.48.5/ <- which is the default that comes up in 9.10, 3 /
's and it does not work
but
smb://192.168.48.5/ <- with just 2 / 's, works for me, YaY!

i had the same older error about text icon
and now im using the older nvidea driver
so this solution didn't solved the issue
im using compiz, but it seems as nothing
to be with that.
So the last 2 nvidea drivers as the same issue
but with the most recent one the error
runs more times.

This is not acceptable it's the main system browser - it should seamlessly
integrate with environment. Proxy configuration should be clear - it isn't even
documented.
I use chromium - it works well with gnome settings and it's still in beta!

developers failed as the retracer did not generate a useful symbolic stack
trace.
