I tracked the problem down to a single line
~/.kde/share/config/konquerorrc: 'CurrentEngine=locate' in the
[SearchBar] section. When running from the command line, Konqueror would
print 'findServiceByDesktopPath: searchproviders/locate.desktop not
found' to STDERR. I removed the file and let Konque

You have to install 2 drivers. First install the LPR driver for DCP-7030
(google) and then install the CUPS wrapper for DCP-7030 (google). Now on
the CUPS administration site you have to choose "Brother DCP-7030 for
CUPS" as driver. Now the printer should work.

Unfortunately this bug continues to effect my machine.
Boot times are > 3mins and I have seen the "can not be mounted message"
numerous times.
I have added the logout applet to the panel and it seems to always load-
this is good because logging out/logging in is the fastest way to fix the
issue.
p.s. I have this problem(flickering) on msi vr420

Sadly it looks like I'll have to try this out.
As I'm using dropbox everyday I woun't do right away, possibly on the weekend.
In the meantime we could ask symbos70 whether he has dropbox installed
or not.
