First close "gtkpod", then open the file " ~/.gtkpod/prefs" in an editor
and change the paths. In my case, I had to change "/usr/share/gtkpod-

That will happen if the device got ejected
I tried this:
$ ubuntu-bug /tmp/linux-image.apport
works fine for me. So this doesn't reproduce the apport crash.
As for the actual bug in Linux, I'm afraid that's not my area of
expertise. :-(

I have the same problem. . This suck`s big time. A fresh install of
Ubuntu 9.10 , and i already feel like i`m in lamedows .
I know how to install and fix the problem, but every new comers will not

I do agree the bug report and scholli. It should not be a hole after a
Gimp delocation. GnuPaint doesn't looks like the perfectly alternetive
for Gimp. But if it's not Gimp has to stay.
