I can confirm that using a fresh install (on a different machine but
with exactly the same audio card as mine"Intel 82801I") the internal mic
will works. Strange and I wouldn't really want to reinstall my machine.
There must be another way ;-)

I'm using Karmic with a Logitech bluetooth mouse and the Lenovo
Thinkpad's internal bluetooth adapter, and after I resume from sleep the
mouse does not work - it shows up as connected in the bluetooth devices

If the menu package is not installed sawfish starts but the middle mouse
menu is not available and is not possible to launch any application.
A possible solution could be something like this:

Just an addendum. Testdisk could SEE linux partitions as well as the
new FAT partition on my WD USB external drive, but it could recover none
of it as it indicated that it was "corrupt".

didn't tell me anything. After upgrading to Karmic, I'm still getting
system hangs when I use the ath5k wireless driver. A few points are
