rykel, thanks for your bug report and helping to make Ubuntu better.
According to upstream you would need to "type in the number in the new
conversation dialog" and there is no need for a dialpad. Closing this
bug as won't fix.

Thank you for testing. This means that it is probably already fixed in
Lucid, which has a kernel based on 2.6.32-rc7. It would be nice if you
could test a alpha-1 LiveCD which should be out on Dec. 10 just to
verify that. Or you could test a daily-build right now, but that is more
likely to have ot

@Mitsch: did you have to power-off your system(s) without a clean
shutdown lately? Or do you have your /home in filesystems other than
ext3?
I also lost my stickynotes once (in 8.10 I think). I was experimenting
with new graphic drivers and had some crashes and freezes and then after
a restart the

Ok, so I retried with today's snapshot.
On Jaunty, I noticed that the problem is indeed the same as in Karmic : I hear
the low and disrupted sound when I set the speaker channel (in alsamixer for
example) closely to 100 (see comment #55).
cat /proc/asound/version worked as expected : 1.0.21 with
Hi idyllic,
I found that if I boot with the power saving off the leak does not appear. The
PowerSmart feature can be enabled dynamically, so I can just switch it on after
booting and be leak free the whole time! Now I just have to remember to turn
it off before shutting down.

The problem is that "light virtualisation" systems like linux-vserver do
not provide a true Linux system to the guest, whereas proper
virtualisation systems take great care to provide a full Linux system.
In this case, the problem is that vserver doesn't provide separate
hardware contexts, udev ne
Apologies, Document viewer does show 12 pages of the 12 page file above
and the orientation is correct. It is image viewer that is showing it
wrongly.
One other thing, If my folder is in Icon view, the tif file show wrongly
but if I right-click on it and use document viewer it opens fine.

Hi Guys,
I have exaclty the same problem. I did a clean install however.
I do have a SSD (booting quickly like hell :)) ) disk so it really seems to be
a timing issue.
I will try the code snippet suggested by bert and report back.
But there should be bugfix for this as it practically makes my M

I know how to do part of what you asked but how do I attach a log file
