Hi.
I am using Ubuntu 9.10(amd64).
After I mount a NTFS formatted disk using Nautilus, I share some directories
with the Nautilus's sharing option.
For example, /media/ExNtfsDrive/music_mp3 ---> I set this folder to be shared
for everyone. No
I have the same problem, and haven't found a solution. I do have a work-around.
1) Specify the integrated sound card as the only card pulse uses in
/etc/pulse/default.pa by commenting out the following

I have the same problem. After suspending, pressing the power button
causes the system to start but the power light continues to flash for a
bit (as it does when suspended). It then sits there doing nothing - no
kernel panic flashing lights and no CPU load (judging by the fan).

despite setting the option, but the notifications are incorrect: they
tell me I'm disconnected when really I'm connected.

I installed Gnome ALSA mixer, and played with the LFE level, clocking it down
and returning it back to high and it seems to have fixed the problem.

login screen appeared and I had to login. It happened, when I opened a

Same problem here. When using xrandr (in this case via my application
python-randr) after I have logged in: boom, screen is not usable
anymore.. restarting the X (ctrl-alt-backspace) and everything works

I've installed Ubuntu 9.10 for the first time at my laptop RoverBook
Voyager H570L. After I logged in it loads GNOME when I try to run an
application (and sometimes without my activity) it freezes completely
(even mouse doesn't move, NumLock doesn't work, no combination like

Binary package hint: nautilus
I just try to browse my folder with films (/media/hdd_320GB/films) and
sometime nautilus can't do that. It works and I can browse another
directories but it doesn't show all files in the directory. After reboot
it works fine.

In that case I'm setting the status back to Triaged and wait for the
response of the initial reporter or confirmation from someone else.

Volume/mute are working for me - a small blue volume bar is overlaid
across the bottom of the screen (not that I actually use these buttons,
I hadn't even tried them before)
I don't think I have any thinkpad-specific packages installed, but there
is a kernel module:

you can start empathy and then go the account menu, then manualy remove every
account that is in there bij clicking on the symbol next to the account name.
When i do that, removes the package and then reinstall the package the account
information is not present anymore in the newly insta

Workaround after failure:
Just tried stopping the media player and restarting and all now works.

I installed in the same PC the Ubuntu 9.04 and now the access to Internet by
wireless is quicker and speeder.
For me the bug is close.
In the next days I will installed the 9.10 in another partition of the same
disk.
