Bit torrent has been running for about 12 hours, all i did was chose
"exit" from the File menu. it showed the "quit" dialog panel, then (i

I am experiencing something very similar. I upgraded to Karmic from
Jaunty, which had no problems. Now when I first boot up everything
connects just fine and I can use the wireless internet for a short

May be the differences in the files may be useful.
I can not see the content of the Desktop folder in the external monitor, but I

There are three problems:
1) the libsensors4 package does not contain the drivers for certain
motherboard sensors. The bug is that It returns an "out of range" error
repeatedly (many times per minute) instead of a "no sensors found"
error, which ought to trigger completely different behavior vis a
Ack from ubuntu-backporters for Intrepid.
