My Eee 901 also periodically hangs when suspending, or resuming from
suspend. Is this perhaps related? I took a picture of the screen the one
time I was able to get into a terminal before it went completely

As you can see now, this is reproduceable...
In the File XsessionErrors.txt it looks like an Firefox related bug,
thats why i have tried to reproduce the bug, by killing Firefox(after
that, ntop had still 100% CPU load) before collection informations with
apport, which I forgot yesterday.

It looks like we're not capturing all the logging we want to, because
rsyslog starts to late - it doesn't start until the filesystem is fully
available, whereas portmap starts as soon as local filesystems and
localhost are available.
You could try editing these lines in /etc/init/portmap.conf:
Reproduced the bug on 9.10 rc. Even adding noapic to grub2 configuration
doesn't solve the problem (brigthess works once every 2 or 3 attempts).

Hi,
I get a Segmentation fault in run_mopac7 on jaunty-amd64.
with mopac7-bin 1.13-2. For a stacktrace see below.
The problem does not occur in a jaunty i386 chroot environment.
The problem does not occur on hardy amd64 mopac7-bin 1.13-2
The problem does not occur with mop

This is not intuitive, and I still consider this at least a usability bug, but

I don't seem to be able to edit the description, so I'll add the SRU
testing instructions here.
TEST CASE:
1. Set up jaunty in a virtual machine. Put /tmp on its own partition.
2. After installation, change /etc/fstab to use the noexec option for /tmp.
3. Reboot and verify that /tmp is mounted wi
