Yesterday I upgraded to Karmic. Karmic uses KMS. When I rebooted kdm had
huge fonts. KDE also had huge fonts, and Firefox had huge fonts and so
huge graphics that only the three first buttons on the navigation tool

Yes, it is. Steps are obvious - just open any ps file in evince and then try to
print to file. When you switch to the "Page Setup" page, only the "only print"

If it's down do bfilter, I'd prefer to see both bfilter and
xulrunner-1.9 removed. The last think we need is to release with an
unsupported xulrunner just for the sake of one package that looks like
it's pretty dead (last new upstream was in Intrepid).

I face this problem with Karmic Release Candidate.
Strangely, if the USB device is plugged during boot, I can see it in
dmesg, lsusb and can mount it like usual.
But if I plug it once the PC has booted, I cannot see it in lsusb,

I don't know whose fault this is. The kernel correctly exposes the fact
that the sound card might distort. Shouldn't it be pulseaudio's job to
limit the maximum volume?
