xulrunner on your system and eclipse apparently found "one of each"
(some of the old and some of the new xulrunner). Could you try
uninstalling xulrunner-1.9 (assuming you can do it without apt taking
half of your system with it

The shutdown procedure fails at the very last step: Power down,
requiring manual stopping of the VM. I'm also running a Debian testing
(Squeeze) VM (similar setup, but still with 2.6.30 kernel), and here that

notice but aptitude removed deluge-core. Now I don't appear to have deluged or

I found this to be a huge regression in usability. My motherboard has
one of those 'odd' soundchips, and every time I reboot I find the PCM
muted and the volume zeroed. I get desktop sounds but nothing from any
media that I play. Once I upgraded to karmic, I had no way to correct
this problem. Had
I take it back - kernel booted after running dpkg-reconfigure linux-
image-2.6.31-9-rt. So that was probably an upgrade issue.

After some fiddling around with various mini-icons, setting and removing them
on the Desktop and Control Panel, klicking on 'shutdown' or 'restart' just
causes some system activity (DVD working) but nothing else happens. ScreenLock
is working.

I suspsect a problem with python 2.6, qemulator was developed for python 2.4
and the upstream author has declared the compatiibility only with the 2.4
version. There are many upstream bug archived with the compatibility issue,
waiting for the new version of qemulator...

I close the laptop lid and the hd lights go working like the system
wants to suspend, but it never finishes supending; if I then open the
