During the upgrade process, I'll launch an "apt-get autoremove --purge" and the
duplicated and obsolete package (QT library for example) was removed.
Now amarok is working well.
Best re
Li Daobing, do you mind I take care of this package for ubuntu 10.04? I've
contacted the author to solve man pages and copyright issues together with me.
The initial packages are in my PPA, leaving copyright and man pages to be
solved in next upstream release.

I have now tried booting with the 2.6.31-12.41 kernel, and kernel has not yet
hung.
I saw this happen twice in a row when I originally booted with 2.6.31-12.41...
Could this be due to a race condition that I encountered twice by chance?
I have not encountered this on 2.6.31-13.44 yet.

Yes, I'm still having issues with this matter. If you have any
suggestions, I'm open to try them!

I checked previous kernel versions too (e.g. the one that came with beta

Interesting thing is that Win as third-level chooser works just fine in

Oops, in my previous test I didn't actually supply a space to the name
in mkisofs any more. So blkid really adds spaces which weren't given in
the first place. The blkid output actually has about ten spaces
appended, Launchpad just shamelessly ate most of them.

@Martin Gamache- You are correct. Fix worked.
@All- Sefan's suggestion in bug 442463 worked and this bug while not
being exactly the same responds to the same fix and subtle differences
may be related to differences in sound card circuitry. Can post Sefan's
solution as a fix for this from Bug 4424
