I tried specifying pci=nomsi as a kernel boot argument, but the machine
still seems to lock up. I then tried adding noapic as a boot argument
and this seems to cause the bug not to occur, the system has been
running for 24+ hours now while using the network and has not locked up.

Still the same problem with me witk Karmic Koala 9.10 beta, latest kino,
latest gtk-recordmydesktop I even tried to convert the ogv to avi or
mpeg with ffmpeg but the converted file was also too fast in Ki
