I noticed one thing this morning when I resumed my laptop from hibernate. I
wasn't able to play any audio file to produce sound coming out of my speakers.
A reboot was needed to get my audio back. I had the 'fixed' kernel loaded and
Audacious2 would simply hang when playing a file, mplayer showe
I am able to reproduce both issues on RV515, by installing kwin and
running "kwin --replace", then right click on the window frame to
"Configure Window Behaviour" and "Enable Desktop Effects". Just moving
windows around and switching between them with Alt-Tab does trigger the
issues.

This is more of a workaround than a bug (so that you can switch to
higher resolutions without breaking 3D acceleration).
1) Are you experiencing problems with the virtual resolution set to 2048 x 2048?
2) What graphics card are you using?
3) Can you attach your /var/log/Xorg.0.log , please?

here the problem exist also onto a Acer Aspire M5620-1E75 desktop computer.
When I restart or shutdown the error message comes, after a longer period the
system shut down then.
