Yippy! My eeepc got his wifi back! I installed the compat-wireless
2.6.32-rc1 on a 2.6.31.11 kernel and it works fine. The older version of
the compat-wireless wouldn't compile on my machine. Thanks for your

alerted with the crash warning.. Weird that it took a while, However
settings are saved as they should.Everything works and saves correctly
but a crash warning is issued some time after successfully editing and

I still have this problem in 9.10 Beta - just tested yesterday.
It seems the problem is located in either kdelibs5 or
gwenview/konqueror.
Already tried to purge all those packages with dpkg --purge --force-all
and reinstalled them but nothing did help.

As discussed on IRC, the changes are bug fixes and aren't too many of
them either, and QA on intel's side looked very thorough. The package
was tested in x-updates PPA before as well. The only new feature was
support for b43 which we planned anyway.

Older grub gives better erro message telling BIOS can't access such
partition. sda10 is not itself too far on disk, but to get address of it
grub has to walk through sda5->sda9. And apparently BIOS can't access
sda8 beginning?
I think this bug can be marked as minor, only thing to fix is give more
