I can confirm this on a working, physical Karmic-machine with all the
latest updates. When I insert a CD or DVD it doesn't get mounted
automatically whereas it worked before. I haven't inserted a DVD in the
last few days so I can't say when exactly the breakage occurred.

Had the same exact problem. Just noticed today that my webcam is dead.
I rebooted using the 2.6.28-13 kernel, and the webcam started working again.

Michael confirms that phoronix-test-suite GUI needs php-gtk to work,
which isn't packaged for Ubuntu yet.
It looks to me like this package used to exist in Debian, but has since been
removed:

This bug was posted because of confusion between the audioscrobbler
plugin and the last.fm plugin.
The audioscrobbler plugin is probably obsolete as audioscrobbler moved
to last.fm. It now seems that the only way to use last.fm with
quodlibet, you need to install the submission deamon from lastfms

any runlevel:

Don't mix different problems. Creating an user just after deleting it
will currently fail because his home folder has not been removed.
Another problem, that was fixed in Karmic, is that the group was not
removed. I'm trying to fix that with deluser, else we'll do this (and
the first problem) ourse
