After my laptop is awaken from the suspend or hibernate, wicd does not connect
me automatically to my wireless network. Most of the time it is stuck with a
message displayed "setting static DNS servers".
Restarting wicd (/etc/init.d/wicd restart) helps.
I'm on Dell D630 lap

indications remain active even if you uncheck it in Startup Programs,

Is it really still sensible to enable "unredirect fullscreen windows"
when it causes so many graphics issues. I am no expert but I don't think
that it necessarily improves performance by any noticeable amount -
fedora does not enable it by default and this does not cause any major
problems.
