I found this bug report while researching on how to enable wireless for
a Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo Sa3560-L I'm thinking of purchasing (actually
I'm now sending this from one such test machine).
I tried Kubuntu 9.04 LiveCD and while there was both an output and the
expected function for Fn+F3 (mute),
Another problem is , this wont work properly for users , who upgrade. the xdg
folder ~/Downloads will not be added in the side pane.
For these users , they would have to manually add the bookmark to be listed in
the sidepane.

Have you had a chance to re-test on karmic? As per my previous comment,
XAA is being forced as the default for several early cards which I
suspect covers yours - please test and verify for us. If it's still an
