With recent 2.6.31-7 kernel in Karmic, this issue becomes even worse -
boot process hangs after setting up dm-crypt volume. Booting -6 kernel
works (with above workaround).
I have added linux tasks, as it seems recent kernel update makes it works.
I would like this to be milestoned for next alpha

I just did a fresh install of Karmic alpha 4 and did all updates. The

FWIW, several months ago I got fed up and hacked around this by just
commenting out a key schedule_scan call in NetworkManager. I no
longer have the problem, but I have to manually "sudo iwlist ath0 scan"
on boot or when roaming to another location for NetworkManager to see
any [new] networks.

i upgraded the laptop longer ago and am testing support for external
monitors from time to time, before it would happen that the external
monitor was empty but the mouse worked and the laptop screen would have
a scrambled image on the top part. with an update in the last days this
degraded further

I want to use svn and trac users to use LDAP authentication (ldap and
svn/trac on different Ubuntu servers)
Please Note-
1. We already have two servers, one "LDAP server" and another "SVN repository
controller", both are on Different system.
2. both are server using "Ubuntu
