This happens when you create a one-time task in gnome-schedule 2.0.2 and
try to open it in 2.1.0. There is a bug in the parser of the data files.
This has been fixed in upstream and will be included in the next minor
release; to manually delete your old tasks. Do in the terminal:
$ atq # to displ

with kernel mode settings because I'd need to be running a 2.6.30-2
kernel or newer. I'm running under the regular jaunty kernel, i.e.
2.6.28-1
Ah, I just put the new p-launchpadlib into my retracer PPA
(https://launchpad.net/~pitti/+archive/apport-retracer) and have the
retracers use that, so it's fine for the retracers for now. With current
karmic and p-launchpadlib 1.5.1 apport's launchpad backend test suite
succeeds again.

I had the same problem with the "m" key, the problem was that the
keyboard shortcut for Copy (or Paste) of the gnome terminal was set to
the "m" key.
I suspect that the problem comes from a bug in gnome terminal automatic
keyboard shortcut functionality (select a menu function and type keys
to a
funny and interesting BUG :)

I think using the name of the hardware can be even more confusing, at
least for non-technical people.
The recommendation of not using numbers when there is only one
connection is also a valid point.

Too late, it's already the default and has been since Alpha 2!

Can you clarify exactly what you mean? Do you mean that the menu stays
there permanently until you press a key? If so, that's a mistake.
